Arsenal – Manchester United
Arsenal faces Manchester United at the Emirates in a match from the 21th round of the Premier League. Stay with us and our preview for the game.
Arsenal are trying to win their first league title since 2004. Right now the Gunners are leaders in the standings with 47 points – this puts them 8 points ahead of the second Manchester City. The dream is real now – Mikel Arteta’s team can really win the gold medals. But only if they keep their consistency!
In the previous round Arsenal celebrated their 15th win for the season. Arsenal paid a visit to Tottenham Hotspur in the Northern London derby and celebrated a 2-0 win. Spurs’ Hugo Lloris scored himself an own goal while Martin Odegaard also scored in the first time.
For Martin Odegaard it was his 8th league goal for the season. The Norwegian international remains one of Arsenal’s best players. He’s a true inspiration for the team.
Manchester United are looking better than ever after the World Cup break. Erik ten Hag’s team managed to climb to third place in the standings. United are unbeaten since November and won five of their last five matches in the league.
On Wednesday Manchester United lost points, though. The Red Devils paid a visit to Crystal Palace in London, but the game ended with no winners – 1-1. Bruno Fernandes opened the score for United, but in the 91th minute the visitors conceded an equalising goal. It was disappointing for Manchester United to lose two points like this.
The Brazilian international Fred could return in Manchester United’s line-up while Harry Maguire and Tyrell Malacia are also options for Ten Hag.
That’s our preview for the Premier League clash between Arsenal and Manchester United at the Emirates. Two historic rivals are facing each other again. Usually these games are excellent, so we hope to see another spectacle here. We wish you good luck!
