Bayern Munich – Hoffenheim
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich face Hoffenheim at the Allianz Arena in a match from the 19th round of the Bundesliga. This should be a good one, so let’s preview it in the next few paragraphs.
After some dissapointing results, including being eliminated from the DFB Pokal, Bayern Munich are once again getting back to form. The Bavarian giants won their last three Bundesliga games against Freiburg, Augsburg and Schalke 04. This allowed them to get 7 points ahead of the second RB Leipzig. Once again they are turning to be the number one favourites for the title.
Bayern Munich’s star striker Robert Lewandowski is once again doing an impressive job. The Polish striker have scored 23 goals so far which puts him at the top of the Bundesliga goalscoring chart. At the same time Hoffenheim will rely on Andrej Kramaric who have scored 12 times this season.
Hoffenheim will try to do as good as they did in their last game against Bayern Munich. In September Hoffe caused Bayern their first defeat for the season. Maybe you remember how they beat the champions with 4-1 at home at the PreZero Arena. It was an impressive performance.
Right now Hoffenheim are 11th in the Bundesliga standings with 22 points, so they can surely do better. Hoffe are always showing signs of improvement as they won their last two Bundesliga games against Hertha BSC and Koln. In these two matches Hoffenheim scored six goals and did not concede any. That’s a good sign before paying a visit to the champion.
Bayern Munich remain favourites against Hoffenheim, of course. Hansi Flick’s team looks better lately and they are ready to show once again why they are favourites for the gold medals. It seems that Robert Lewandowski is scoring for fun right now and the visitors must be very cautious of the Polish striker.
