Bayern Munich – Werder Bremen
Bayern Munich are going to host Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena in a match from the 8th week of the Bundesliga. Is is going to be another easy win for the champions? Let’s preview it.
Far from suprising, Bayern Munich are leaders in the Bundesliga with 18 points and sx wins from seven matches played. Right now the Bavarians have two points advantage in front of the second RB Leipzig. Their only misstep was against Hoffenheim just few days after the European Super Cup final. At this moment Bayern Munich are dominating every competition they play in and they are once again the number one favourites for the title.
Before the international break Bayern Munich scored their fifth consecutive win in the league. Hansi Flick’s boys faced Borussia Dortmund in the great Bundesliga derby and scored a 3-2 win at the Signal Iduna Park. David Alaba, Robert Lewandowski and Leroy Sane scored for Bayern. They were flawless once again.
Werder Bremen are now having a tough task ahead of them. Werder are currently 9th in the Bundesliga standings with 10 points won. They could be satisfied with the decent way they started the 2020/21 season.
Before the break Werder Bremen made a 4th consecutive draw in the Bundesliga. Florian Kohfeldt’s team faced Koln at home and won a point after a 1-1 draw. Leonardo Bittencourt scored Werder’s only goal in the game from a penalty kick in the 82th minute. It wasn’t Werder’s best game for the season, but they still managed to get a point there.
These are our thoughts about the Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena. We’d be really surprised if Hansi Flick’s team don’t take the win here. Bayern are doing fantastic at the moment and they are dominating the league without much of a problem.
